During such appearances, he always remains above the influence of Maya and her evolutes, even while enjoying the sense objects devoutly offered by his devotees. He acts with fearlessness due to his divine power. The wordly wise people, when observe God enjoying sense objects offered to him, they find fault with God and feel that though he is God, he seems to have much more attachment to the sense objects than they. Munis and devotees were assembled before him in an assembly. Then Swayamprakashanand Swami asked, ‘ Oh Maharaj ! Please tell us whether the incarnations of God on earth bear equal spiritual importance or there can be distinction as great or small ?’ Shriji Maharaj said in reply, ‘ After hearing all the scriptures composed by Vyasji, I have come to the conclusion that amongst all the incarnations, right from fish to Nrisimh (leoman) and others, the one who transcends them all is Shri Krishna. Krishnavatar can not be equated with any other incranation. He is the transcindental highest and he is our spiritual master. The episodes of his divine life are fully narrated in the tenth Skandha of Shrimad Bhagwat. This scripture, therefore, prescribed as the great authority by me for our Uddhav Sampradaya. The rest of incarnations, as they emanate from the form of Shri Krishna, deserve our worship and the scriptures which relate […] read more

Between Drishta – the soul and Drishya – the body, there exist a conscious thought which keeps them separate. Please explain to us whether this thought – consciousness emanates from the soul or sense organs or mind ?’ Then Shriji Maharaj said, ‘ I am of the openion that one who is with spiritual vigour has thought consciousness emanating from the soul and functioning through the sense organs and mind for performing purified actions. His sense organs have no separate thought consciousness as they have become conditioned to the thought consciousness of the soul, and function only in accordance to thought consciousness of soul. The Antahkaran, by it’s four distinct functions, has been divided into four compartments-namely Manas, Buddhi, Chitta and Ahankar-known respectively as mind, intelligence, lower mind and ego. Such spiritual vigour enlightened with awakened thought consciousness stops […] read more

Knowledge of the manifestation of God in human form, which knowledge should be thoroughly immutable and should not effaced even if his mind creates doubts. Absolute attachment to all devotees. As parents love their children, and as a wife loves her husband and as a son loves and remains by the side of his father, similarly a true devotee should steadily remain by the side of a true devotee of God.
